Oticon Reveal: A New Generation of Hearing Technology

We’re delighted to announce that Oticon Reveal is now available at Precision Hearing.
Our founder and Senior Audiologist, Salvatore, recently attended the Oticon Reveal launch at Frameless London in September 2026, where he had the opportunity to explore the technology behind Oticon’s latest generation of hearing aids.
For Salvatore, one of the most exciting aspects of Reveal is that Oticon isn’t simply using AI to make hearing aids process more sound. Instead, Reveal has been designed around a different idea: giving the brain access to both speech and the environmental sounds that help us understand what is happening around us.
What is Oticon Reveal?
Oticon Reveal is the world’s first hearing aid powered by a Dual AI system.
The technology uses two dedicated AI systems that work together in real time:
Speech AI – designed to provide access to clear speech.
Context AI – designed to preserve meaningful sounds from the surrounding environment.
This is based on Oticon’s BrainHearing™ philosophy, which recognises that our brains use much more than speech to make sense of what we hear.
Think about sitting in a busy restaurant. You might be listening to the person sitting opposite you, but your brain is also processing laughter nearby, plates being put down, footsteps approaching and people moving around you. Those sounds create context.
With Reveal, Oticon has developed its Dual AI technology to continuously adapt to changing listening environments, balancing speech with the surrounding sounds that can help provide that context.
Smarter AI, working all day
Reveal's Speech AI and Context AI are designed to be always on, continuously adapting in real time rather than requiring the wearer to manually switch between different listening modes.
Oticon has also introduced 4D Sensor technology, which uses information about the listening environment and the user's movements to provide more personalised support as situations change.
This can be particularly relevant in everyday situations where listening conditions can change quickly — from a quiet conversation at home to walking outside, meeting friends or sitting in a busy café.
Designed to reduce unwanted noise
Reveal also incorporates Oticon's Wind & Handling Stabilizer 2.0, designed to reduce the impact of wind and handling noise.
According to Oticon, the technology provides up to 40 dB of attenuation of wind and handling noise, helping to make outdoor listening and everyday handling of the hearing aids more comfortable.
Reveal also features Oticon's latest feedback prevention technology, giving audiologists greater flexibility when fitting the hearing aids to an individual's hearing loss.
